- Loading and offloading materials.
- Data entry into warehouse management system (SAP).
- Verifying that all daily inbound and outbound inventory numbers reflect SAP, daily inventory Balancing and Reconciliation.
- Maintain filing/records keeping per FSBP policies.
- Ensure orders are picked adhering to FIFO process.
- Move material from East Warehouse to plant via truck.
- Maintain raw material storage area.
- Ensure timely completion of cycle counts; initiate Cycle Counts and execute through partnership with shift supervisor.
- Submit completed cycle counts to DC Manager for review; track and report DC trends/progress.
- Research inventory discrepancies and errors for tracking and coaching; publish. KPI's/breakdown of inventory accuracy/errors and provide resolutions to DC Manager.
- Draft/create fitting standards to alleviate gaps.
- Perform departmental audits to ensure that company best practices are being followed. Examples include that teammate are picking and putting away inventory according to current footprint/layout.
- Supports completion of Physical Inventory Annually.
- Trained to backfill for the Material Coordinator
- Coordinate transfer of raw materials from offsite warehouse to main plant.
- Works with Warehouse Manager to supply documentation needed to correct issues (BOL's, pictures, packing list, customs documents, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED. College degree is preferred
- Forklift Certified
- At least 2 years' experience working in warehouse, distribution center, logistics/transportation field
- Excellent organizational skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and analytical skills and experience working with SAP desired
- Ability to work well in teams and work with and train teammates.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Operate a Forklift
- Must be able to climb a ladder to an elevation of six feet above the ground level
- Be on your feet up to 12 hours during the shift.
- Experience Operating Yard Dog
